Qualifications & Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience
- IV certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN/physician
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures
- Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing
- Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes
- Supervise CNAs and unlicensed assistive personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
